Wendover Woods Original Painting
Wendover Woods Original Painting
Wendover Woods, Buckinghamshire
An area of woodland on the north edge of the Chiltern Hills in. Named after the nearby town of Wendover, the woods are part of the Public Forest Estate and are managed by Forestry England. Covering 325 ha, the woods are a mixture of coniferous and broad-leaved trees. This popular cafe was recently demolished and rebuilt, but this is how I remember it! A destination for cyclists/walkers/family picnics and with a Gruffalo trail! Can you spot the Gruffalo in my painting?
I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m2
