The Rose and Crown Tring is the second "Rose and Crown" onthis site. This iconic building is Edwardian, built by Lord Rothschild as an overspill for gusts to his home at Tring Mansion where King Edward V1 was a guest. For many years it served as a coaching Inn, a hotel and restaurant and has now been sympatheically turned into retirement flats.
