The Louisa Cottages Tring Original Painting

The Louisa Cottages are a row of almshouses in Tring, Hertfordshire, built 1893 and 1901.Designed by William Huckvale in the Norman Shaw style. They are a Grade II listed building and are owned by the Louisa Cottages Charity. Commissioned by Emma Rothschild, wife of Nathaniel Rothschild.Their eldest son, Walter set up the Natural History Museum nearby

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
