The Goat Berkhamsted

The Goat, Berkhamsted is a family and dog-friendly sports bar, as well as Berkhamsted's premier music venue. Historically dating from 1782, but re-built in the mid-19th c. A halt for cattle-drovers on their way to the London markets. The drovers pounded their cattle/sheep in three closes nearby (hence Three Close Lane). The surviving cattle trough survives outside as a flower bed.

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

Dimensions: image A3 sized.297 x 420 mm Framed, Signed and titled in pencil by me. Presented in a white mount (50mm all round) but unframed.
