The eagerly awaited sequel to Steaming through Berkhamsted was published in 2021. I teamed up with Berkhamsted steam enthusiast Rob Freeman to produce another album of pure local railway nostalgia featuring historic photographs by H C Casserley, my famous grandfather. This volume covers: more Berkhamsted scenes, Princes Risborough and branches, the Met from Moor Park to Aylesbury and beyond (Quainton, Calvert Junction etc), Watford branches, St Alban's, and Potters Bar. There are also sections on the big Freeze of 1947, unusual workings, and, despite the title some exceedingly rare views of early diesel and electrics. softback, 170 pages , colour on every page even though all the photos are B&W. Professionally designed in St Alban's, printed on quality 'art' grade paper in Reading, Berks. Introduction by Chris Green ex MD Network South East: MD Intercity & CEO Virgin Trains. RRP £22. Now reduced to £12
