LMS Loco Boxmoor Original Painting

LMS Loco 1018 North of Boxmoor, near Hemel Hempstead, Roughdown Common is in the distance, and to the RHS you can glimpse Robert Snooks Highwaymans grave.

I based my painting on a B&W photograph taken by my grandfather HC Casserley who was a well-known railway historian and photographer, to gain access to the railway lines like this is impossible now, partly due to "elf and safety" but also as there is a bypass ( A41) running parallel to the railway here now!

  I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

Dimensions:

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
