Hares at Pitstone, Nr Ivinghoe

 My second take on painting this historic windmill. Pitstone Windmill is a Grade II* listed windmill. Built in the early 17th century, it stands in a large field near the parish boundary of Ivinghoe and Pitstone in Buckinghamshire. Presently, the windmill belongs to the National Trust and is open on certain heritage weekend days. Ivinghoe Beacon is in the distance

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
