Halton Wendover Canal

The Grand Union Canal branches off towards Halton, Buckinghamshire, near Wendover. Shown here in the heart of the village. The bridge shown has since been replaced. the canal is now closed to boats, but open to walk along, fish, and enjoy! Its currenlty undergoing restoration We spent many holidays as children on a hire barge, and have very fond memories of happy days afloat.
