Ascott House Wing

Ascott House, Wing (owned by the National Trust). The fountain shows Venus in a shell drawn by a sea-horse (designed by Waldo Story USA). The original 1606 house was enlarged in 1875 for Leopold de Rothschild and extended again in 1938. (My sisters godmother lived there as her husband was the chauffer!)
