Aldbury in the snow. Aldbury village is an unspoilt gem in the Chilterns. Set under glorious Beech Woods near the Ashridge Estate. Managed by the National Trust. Over 5,000 acres of ancient trees, rolling chalk downlands and lush meadows in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Near Berkhamsted, Herts.

This snowy scene is set around the ancient medieval village pond and stocks. There are two pubs (The Greyhound just visible in the picture) and the Valiant Trooper. Find my Aldbury cards in the village shop under the care of Sunny and Daisy.

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
